I'm still not a fan of its physical proportions

The watch has its positives & negatives

Positives
-----------
- flyback movement
- registers at the 9 & 3 o'clock positions
- nicely shaped lugs ( very 2447 like )
- nicely fitted bracelet end peices
- nice modern pushers

Negatives
-------------
- the subdials are still too close together for a watch this wide ( it makes it look cross-eyed )
- the time hands seem too short. I know they cover the time dial but that oversized chapter ring is proportionally too wide so that the Hour & Minute hands seem too stubby.

Overall a good effort but if Tag want to produce such a wide chronograph then the need to start with a movement that lays the registers further apart in order to keep the proportions of the main elements of the watch looking natural.
My verdict - close but no cigar.
