Re: My New GMT...Opinions?
In Response To: My New GMT...Opinions? ()

: I have this GMT on approval from a master watchmaker I know. He
: says his master gave it to him when he finished his
: apprenticeship. It appears to have its original finish. The
: bezel is pretty nice. It probably looks a little more faded in
: real life. The dial is pretty decent with a bit of schmutz in
: the subs. The crown and pushers are original. He overhauled it
: and it seems to run very well.

: How does it seem to you experts as far as being reasonably original
: from the standpoint of hands...bezel etc etc?

: Thanks (BTW, please feel free to record the Serial Number for any
: reference)

hi John,

case seems good to me, sharp edges, no scratches no dents, pusher original , handset correct later 1163 execution , perhaps the dial is relumed? The missing dot on the bezel will be normal for Heuer using parts at the time changing to new executions.

this one is about 60 watches younger, the same case, the change of execution must be in between this batch.
cheers
