Georges,
Congratulations for this one, scarce, colored, beautiful all of this nestled in a 1163 case, what could we ask more ?
It'll be amazing at wrist and I can't wait your wrist shot which will deserve your new Superman gear, the perfect match ! ;-)
To get back to the lume thing,
it is difficult to me to make a proper assessment based on these photos but I'd tend to say lume looks original/untouched to me
Here's a photo of my former 11630 GMT dial
to me, the lume looks exactly the same,
I had the same missing part of it gone at 10 after a service,
but the perfectly homogeneous patina it showed left no space for doubt, it hadn't been touched in any way, lume was simply the killer detail on this one.
This lume thing has always been a huge question to me as we can see some variations on the lume finish over these dials (application technique, color, ...)
Did Heuer use several dials providers for these using different techniques and colors ?
Others guesses ?
In any case, these GMTs are to me among the most beautiful one can own and wear
Cheers,
Laurent
