Congrats Hodinkee

It's refreshing to read Ben being critical about some of the new watches he has reviewed of late, because my take is far too many watch reviewers "blow smoke up the backsides" of the watch manufacturers. When you look at some of the reviews, they are often bland and unbelievable...so congrats to Ben for some refreshing honesty.

I found when reviewing and valuing cars, that it made no difference to most manufacturers if you were honest, but I observed others finding it hard to change tack after always issuing glowing reviews. Concerned about their next demo or perhaps worried about the support they receive to their advertising budget.

No doubt this is one of the reasons Hodinkee' is doing so well.

: As we have heard here about some of the recent TAG Heuers, Ben
: suggests that the movement should have been bigger or this case
: should have been smaller.

: In any event, gotta love the coat-sweater-shirt / chronograph
: combination!!
