Which part do you mean by the bezel, given that you've mentioned having it polished?
The internal Tachy scale ring may well come away with the plexi if the watchmaker removes it for polishing, rather than doing it in situ. The polished ring around the outside of the crystal is a fixed part of the case, just given a different finish, and doesn't come away.
