I wonder if anyone can help - this is the first time I have used this site/forum

I put a non runner copper faced 02 triple calendar 2543 into a watch repairers in London - waited 6 months and just been told they can't source the parts to repair it.
This would be fair enough but they seem very reluctant to tell me what parts are required so I am none the wiser.
Are the parts that rare? And please can anyone recommend a reliable repairer/restorer who could source parts for me and repair the watch as this watch has sentimental attachments for me and I would like to be able to wear it

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
