Enjoy it!!

: ..the 40th Anniversary edition...
: I know many of you will ponder 'why?', just get a 1133B.. but I do
: have an excuse, sort of..
: I had a 1133G, but it just didn't get enough wrist time, I was a
: little uncomfortable wearing it.. worried that I might do it
: some harm. I know that's daft, I'm not like that with my other
: Heuers - I can't explain why I felt that way - maybe it was
: because it was the most I've ever spent on a watch - who knows!.
: Also, I always did quite fancy the blue dial version.. but a)
: that's a lot of addition wedge to splash out, and b) I would be
: even more protective of it - maybe, I don't know. Anyway, not
: long ago, my 1133G went to pastures new, and hopefully it is
: getting worn more.
: So, how come the modern Monaco.. well, I wasn't looking for one, it
: just popped up - as they do, when you least expect it. Cut a
: very long story short, I got it at a very favourable price, as
: it is missing it's box/papers.. but I'm wearing it now, and I
: have to say, I really am enjoying it. I've just got back from a
: 2 hour walk with the dog, wearing it without worrying one bit.
: It's not a safe queen, being a little bruised and battle scared,
: but I love that.. as I really don't have to worry about
: dinging it.
: More info on the model is on my blog:
