An extremely long time ago, I asked him this question and he said he would ask his manufacturer about making one in the 1163 configuration, however, sadly Rob disappeared off the radar and never heard from him about it. I think Rob has the capability to make it but I have yet to get a response from him. We already know he's familiar with making sapphire versions for the Silverstone and albeit the 11630, but like I said I never heard from Rob, perhaps my emails got classified under junk mail. If you guys hear back let me know?
Cheers and I hope both of you are having a great day.
: ...when it comes to crystals it's obviously been done to death
: already so think it makes sense, and it is the least "Heuer
: DNA" part of the watch.
: I think a few guys looked into it a while back and it is expensive
: compared to making normal mineral or sapphire flat glass.
