I'm not so fond of the sixties Carreras. For me the white and silver dials look too perfect, almost sterile. Is this the reason why most of us collectors are looking for the versions with more color on the dial, i.e. tachy, decimal, pulse?
My oldest Carrera has enough patina, shows plenty of evenly distributed freckles …
… and a golden chapter ring with blue pulsometer scale.
This seems to be a ref. 3647P with Cal. 92, polygonal back, unsigned crown. The most probably incorrect hands without lume and the golden indices may also point to a ref. 3648P missing its original plated case :-)
Have a nice weekend.
Cheers,
Mick
