Indeed fantastic Paul and I would have thought rather unique in the Heuer world.
: I think this one fits today’s theme quite well. I have seen one
: example of the Yachting Carrera before so it’s not a new
: discovery however the patina of the dial is unique. It started
: life with the standard metallic silver starburst finish but over
: time and I assume many hours in a hot and humid climate, it has
: turned to a deep shade of copper.
: It is a remarkable watch and one that certainly has no equal in my
: collection. Tropical dials are not everyone’s cup of tea but
: there is an inherent beauty in the consistency and the gamut of
: shades that the metallic surface throws out. The contrast with
: the blue markers is the cherry on top. Who could not love this
: 30mm diameter disc of beauty.
: Regards to all
: Paul
