Another place you might want to look is eBay, though what you are likely to find are a few overpriced Master Times and Monte Carlos that have been floating around for the past year with no buyers. The value is largely based on functionality and appearance, so without pictures, it's impossible to give you anything remotely resembling a decent estimate.
A concern is that you brought them to a jeweler. Few watchmakers are capable of working with these pieces, and most of us have had a dash timer or two ruined by a watchmaker trying to help. A jeweler who isn't a watchmaker isn't the sort of thing that instills much confidence here. In other words, saying you had a jeweler poking around inside suggests that they have more likely damaged the pieces than anything else.
So a generic estimate, assuming both piece are functioning and in decent cosmetic condition, is that the Monte Carlo is worth about $1250 to $1500, and the Master Time about $1500 to $1750. If they're sold together, you may get a bit of a premium at $3000 to $3500. Hope that helps.
