It was kinda fresh in my mind, because I spotted that 844 on ebay. It was a decent price, and I figured that potential buyers might thing the handset was incorrect, so could be a bargain, plus, I've never seen another. I think it's uber cool with the big ol' secs hand! So I had done a little research before.

The daft thing is.. that page I posted, from the 79 catalogue.. if you check out the front cover, it has the same model with a 'regular' seconds hand - just goes to show that these deigns were in flux as Heuer marketed them.
