You know, I hate to say this, and I say it with all due respect to the memory of our friend, Chuck Maddox, but I am really starting to like the two-register guys!!
Yours is a beauty and the extra open space at the bottom of the dial looks great to my (new and improved) eye.
Thanks for the kind words about this Carrera 2447NT; somehow, it just seemed to be a piece that "needed" to be in the TAG Heuer Museum.

: I know you've been waxing lyrical about this watch for a few
: weeks.. but I didn't realise it was such a rarity, not being a
: Carrera expert.
: Buying it and them offering it to the TAG Heuer Museum is a great
: thing to do, you should be applauded. Seems to me that the Heuer
: collectors really do have a honest and generous brotherhood,
: where this kind of action and reporting is solely for the
: pleasure, and not for tring to make a quick buck, like is so
: often seen in the watch world.
: Just to add to proceedings, I know it's not quite as rare, but here
: is my one and only 60's Carrera, it's Valjoux 92 brother.. the
: 3647NT.. such a pleasure to wear in this (rare British) Summer
: heat, being a nice lightweight option.
