So how do you value this Memphis?
I have seen only one in 15 years of looking. So it must be worth much more than these very common Carrera 12 Datos or even the 18 karat gold Carrera, Reference 1158, right?
Lesson Number One: Do not confuse scarcity and value.
Yes, Clebars are scarce, put they sell for a small fraction the price of a Heuer.
And then there is Lesson Number Two, from our deceased friend, Chuck Maddox: Please don't feed the trolls.
With that, I sign off regarding this fake Heuer Carrera 12 Dato. I suspect that it will have a long life on eBay, until someone comes along who does not know any better.
