Re: Mysterious Autavia 1163 GMT
In Response To: Mysterious Autavia 1163 GMT ()

Is it usual for things to get changed round at service? I have an Autavia 1163 with an early serial number and 'Bell' dial. The hands are Viceroy and the insert is a later T one with a pip. I bought the watch from the original owner who had it serviced years ago, I assume the hands and insert were changed later in the 1970s, it makes sense if that's what's available from Heuer in whichever country you're in.
