New arrival: Heuer 510.501 day-date

I sold my previous one - my first real "vintage" Heuer watch - in 2011 and missed it ever since.

So after selling a couple from my collection I jumped when I saw this on sale on a reputed British seller website - the owner Neil is a real gentleman by the way.
The watch head is almost flawless, PVD only has very light handling marks, the lume is green and very bright in the dark, time and chrono works spot on and - very rare - the orange of the chrono hand is still very vivid, kind of orange-red.
The bracelet instead is pitted and rusted in some spots, a striking difference indeed. So I sourced a Chronissimo that fits its lug size perfectly and now am wearing it on this strap, very comfortable in the summer heat (the photo on the bracelet is the seller's).
I've had it on my wrist since it arrived on Tuesday and think it will stay a long time!
Cheers
Fabrizio
