There are fairly nice Heuer 3 register triple dates from the same era in 18k languishing on eBay for $4,500 or so. Granted they are not in as nice shape as your little gem but still. I still think Jeff's estimate, while perhaps not all the retail money is all someone is likely to get for this watch. The best market for it is eBay where the seller will have all of the hassle and then pay around 10% for the privilege. Explain...politely....what a great favor you would be doing for him.
