I agree, it's not a bad effort compared to some of the shoddy stuff we've seen in the past.. but I disagree about the finish of it. It is noticeably 'less white' that the original ALARM script, not nearly as sharp and lacks the thickness/height of paint. You really need to 'get your eye in', really stare at it, have a beer.. look at it, and it slowly becomes more obvious that it's just not right.
Then compare it to a genuine mid 70's shield, and it becomes clear as day... here is a clear shot of a genuine shield from c'75..
