Firstly, congrats.. That's a stunning example. I also happen to have a real love of this particular model, in my opinion a much underrated Autavia.

I've just checked mine, and the glass is very very slightly lower than the inner edge of the steel ring on the bezel. I wouldn't worry about it at all, you could always get the crystal reset slightly higher. I had this done on another 11063 to afford the bezel some protection, as a new glass is a few bucks.
