Wasn't it just 3 years ago that you could buy a nice Autavia 1163 for $1500 that ran OK and didn't need to be repaired? Now one has sold needing repairs for $3575!!!

Several of my recent repairs on these movement have parts costs in the $300 to $400 range (current market with no markup). That cost plus servicing can put a fixer way above the price of finding a nice one. I am starting to see a lot fixer watches on ebay (not only Heuer) going for ridiculous prices and sometimes more than one that is nice and ready to go. Are the rest of you seeing the same thing? Craig
