Like Jay says, 99% of them were quartz, with the 756 being the Auto I can think of. Off the top of my head the mid sized divers were all quartz too.
Thing is, finding one, especially in good condition is a bit of a needle in a haystack, so you're probably better off looking for a Carrera, it would be easier, but more pricey - maybe a pre-Carrera could be an option too, plenty in the smaller sizes around 33-34mm, and without the hefty price tag?
