Well, he said 'he took it to another forum'.. which is what I did, before you got involved.

Personally Jeff, I couldn't care less about him.. he's a big fish in a very small pond..
99% of the heavyweight passionate watch nuts I know are on here, Twitter, Hodinkee, DWC etc etc etc.

Eddies forum is dying a slow death, the top notch members being drowned out by speed posters chasing the Sales section, and people just wanting to argue. Look at one of the most popular threads at the moment - some real nasty stuff flying about because some people thing £13k for a watch is expansive, and some don't.. then a massive argument about the definition of 'expensive' erupts, ding ding, massive fight, someone starts a poll, massive fight 2. Go figure.

The real shame is that there are some real knowledgeable passionate watch nuts on there stuck in the middle of the 'noise'..
