I agree with others here this was a very beautiful example of the model & i watched it close with much interest.
Did anyone else notice the unusual HF stamping on the inner caseback ?
Its a different size & shape to the HF symbols we see on the earliest , full lume , 1st executions.
I wish i had the funds available to bid but sadly watched this one sail by.
I really hope its within the community & not in the hands of a trader as suggested by another in this thread.

: I'm sure all of us have seen it on eBay...
: Gorgeous example, may be well the best I have seen ever so far. 2nd
: Execution Ref.3646.
: Seems all original and untouched to my eyes. Case appears to be
: extremely clean and sharp, untouched. Correct Dauphine hands
: with nice lume. Early bezel with lume triangle, perfectly faded,
: not too much...
: Only question I would have is that the lume dots on dial seems to
: be glossy...never saw this before on the early Autavia's. But
: again, it just looks right all the way...also case back, soooo
: sharp!
: My congratulations to the new owner...I hope we'll see the watch
: around here in a friday wristshot!
: Best,
: abel.
