Ron,
What you forgot to tell is the fun bid.. I found it. I think that's what OTD is.
Some proud, some funny, some rich, some poor. People who may never have met, some that obviously have.
A passion which could have been about stamps or teacups, for us it's owning or knowing a (few) pieces of metal.
OTD is the home of Heuerista. Nerdiness is a common trait here i think. Sticklers for detail.
It's the community feeling which I get when I read the posts of others, the disappointment when it's quiet..
My awfull mistake to publicly argue with somebody else. It's all taken in the spirit of the game. And solved.
Ron, I hope your wife loves that ugly, tiny, bit of bling. And yes I will go an try to fnd you the perfect bracelet or buckle. ;-)
Hope to meet you soon.
Abel, that tool is yours.
I think I'll soon rant about marketprices... and if we should be happy that prices are going up.
We'll ALL pay the price. Some will sell some rare ones. Some will buy them.
It's going to be impossible to build a collection. What's happening in the Heuer market place is similar to why I don't enjoy football the way I used to.
I'm an Ajax fan. Not a chance against the Moguls. The talented are used and abused by the rich. The game has changed.
Challenge:
I WANT an early 1st,1st Autavia. I'll treasure it all my life, and I'll pass it on to a fellow member in MY will....
