Congratulations Craig!
In fact I just won a bid on eBay for a Heuer Daytona last week and the auction page has a picture of the buckle and the original bracelet. The buckle is signed "Heuer" in the photo and in my own limited experience of collecting vintage Heuers, most steel buckles for Heuers are signed. Anyway have a look at the auction page at the link I have provided and judge for yourself.
P.S. Please don't tell me how much you paid for your watch - I don't want to end up kicking myself!
