I just had my 11063V fully serviced (after a 30 year service hiatus) at Tempus Fugit on 25th street. 2 week turnaround. Watch seems to be happy from the visit. Owner is a nice watch guy who was wearing an A&F Seafarer or a Mareograph - I can't remember - but he understands the geeky obsession thing.
I can't vouch for his watchmaker's ability to source vintage heuer parts, though.
: I've got a 2447 Carrera that I've had for a little less than a
: year, and would like to begin a relationship with a shop here in
: New York, preferably in Manhattan, in order to service it as
: needed. I can't bear the idea of shipping it off to TAG Heuer's
: official service center in NJ, as I'd rather get to know someone
: who I can trust not to replace parts with new, involve shipping
: cos, etc. Google searches don't seem to help much - so I put the
: question to you all: Does anyone here know of a good vintage
: shop in New York?
