Re: Vintage service in New York

The man wearing the Seafarer is the proprietor of Tempus Fugit, not the watchmaker. BUT, he swears his guy (whom he would not name) is the best he's worked with ever and I have another Brooklyn collector who can vouch for his skills having had several older chronographs overhauled through tempus fugit. I say pay a visit and ask some questions. You'll probably get few satisfying answers, but in 2 weeks I had my Autavia back on my wrist working perfectly. I too hate putting my watches in the mail due to the horror stories and general horror that is using a PO in NYC.

: Thanks! Sounds like a solid lead - anyone with a Seafarer or
: Mareographe seems like someone I'd be comfortable with servicing
: my watch. I'll definitely have to pay him a visit. Much
: appreciated!
