Looks great.. oh hang on.. no, doesn't hit the spot

I think that maybe the JLC vintage chrono has caught the eye of a few watch brands.. it looks pretty darn good in that 'straight on' photo, but when viewed at more regular angles on Hodinkee, it starts to lose it's appeal..

It is nice, and has strong B&R DNA, but I think for me, it's just 'not quite right'.. but then again, I think the same about most B&Rs.. the proportions aren't quite right to my eye. JLC did a much better job.
Still, for the money, it's not a bad prospect, and it's nice to see more of these classic looking watches making it into the modern watch ranges.
