I look at these 18 KG Autavia Re-Issues every once in a while, but always lose interest at some point in the search. I have never seen one in the metal.
Perhaps it is the lack of a distinguished / distinctive movement that puts me off.
This one seems to have been on eBay for some time -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/190799959083

: I did, Mark -- actually I thought of mentioning it on my post;
: gorgeous tri-compax dial (even though I normally prefer
: bi-compax) on a limited run of 150 pieces... I'm definitely a
: 'white metal' guy, but that Autavia re-edition looked really
: fabulous in rose gold. Maybe one day I'll look around to see if
: there's one available on the pre-owned market. And I'll promise
: you one thing: I'll keep on insisting with TAG Heuer to have
: them make another Autavia re-edition... and I'll lobby for it
: once again when I meet Stéphane Linder in a few weeks in Paris!
