JCB Referred to Autavias for "Special Occasions"

When we spoke with JCB, in Geneva (January 2013), I believe that he suggested that TAG Heuer could re-issue a series of Autavias for a special occasion (or words to that effect). In other words, the Autavia would not be a standard model in the line-up (like the Carrera and Monaco), but models could be created to mark special events, etc. I thought of the boxed pair of wrist and dashboard Autavias, done some years ago.

: The introduction of the Cal 1969 might be a good time for them to
: revisit that actually. When we spoke to JCB about it in January,
: he didn't rule out an Autavia (when I noticed that Jeff
: pronounces Autavia quite differently to me) but seemed more
: interested in adding complications to the movement, presumably
: in Carrera cases.

: Could be worth mentioning to Guy too, an haute horlogerie Autavia
: could be quite the halo model for the rest of the range.
