Fifth Batch of 1163 Cases

This serial number puts the case at the heart of the Viceroy period, in 1972. Mark has determined that Heuer was into the fifth batch of 1163 Autavias at that time (with the 246xxx serial numbers) -- http://www.onthedash.com/thoughts/serial-numbers-of-viceroy-autavias/

I would not be surprised if Heuer had used a 1563 case to produce a Cal 12 Viceroy, although we have not seen many of these.

What do others think of this one?

Jeff
