That is just superb.

I knew watches could be replated with gold but I have never seen such a fantastic restoration of original case finish on a plated watch. I would have assumed it impossible.

I love the barrel carrera in gold, I agree with mark, it's even more fun on a GP bracelet. I think the orginal one is hard to find, but you sometimes see some nice no-name period GF gold plated bracelets. As they are GP usually they are pretty cheap (
