Re: Illinois Trust?

: I like the Illinois Trust window, what is the story with that?

Thanks. A guy who I bought watches from for a long time in downtown Rockford, Illinois had this window in his jewelry store. A couple of years ago he decided to close down the store. He didn't have a lot of good stuff left. I bought a few watches, some parts and tools and since I had always admired the window...he sold it to me. I have tried to do research on this bank without a lot of luck. Best I can tell it was in business under this name for only a short time. I think it was called something else before this and I think it was swallowed up by another bank. The guy showed me the building he thought it came from but I am dubious. The frame is local walnut and was obviously mounted in a wall at one time. It can cause an annoying green cast in the room if you try to shoot without the big lights.
