I don't see how anyone could call this watch an "ugly duckling" with it's pointy hand and pointy lume 5 minute markers. I love every bit of it.

I believe the record album cover is for Charles Mingus' album Ah UM which featured among other great songs, Good By Pork Pie Hat which was an ellegy for Lester Young. Ah Um featured Young's last recording before he died. The cover art was by Japanese American artist Neil Fujita. Love me some Mingus.
