Ebay Item 141108094935

I don't know much (anything!?) about Heuer's wartime up/down chronos.

I assume this one has had a hasty redial job done on it, or did Heuer really produce salmon coloured dials in the 1940s?

Educate me; what are the other alarm bells on this piece?
