The 1972 Indy Viceroy Ads

I posted a copy of the famous Parnelli Jones Heuer Viceroy Ad on Facebook yesterday and learned 2 things. My friend, and great friend of Parnelli's, Mr. Steve Shunck informed me that the driver in the ad is not really Parnelli but a model. I guess I should have known that because I know Parnelli a bit and have always followed him...The hair is all wrong. Also our own StewartM told me (everybody else probably already knew) that the watch being worn by the model in the ad is really an "Orange Boy" and not a Viceroy. I am going to do my best to get the real Mr. Rufus Parnell Jones to pose with either a Viceroy or an Orange boy the next time I see him which might not be until May.
