I almost went kinda 'tropical' too.. well, I say tropical, but I mean wabi, faded, sun-bleached etc, not not necessarily tropical in the true 'gone browny' sense.
I've a few watches that I wear a lot, and they tend to be the less than perfect, faded, 'seen a lot of life' watches.
In fact, I prefer them to the minter examples!
