Thank you all for telling what this part is called. I'm hoping this is all thats wrong, as when I moved the lever a little, the movement came to life. I'm now wondering if I just lift of the plat and put the lever where it belongs all should be well. Apart from the retaining screws is there any thing I should be aware of before I try fixing it ?
