Had Been Waiting for Your Response!!

I wondered whether you might go 60s, 70s and 80s . . . but, in the end, I like the "double down" on the 1960s Carreras.

Nice choices!!

Jeff

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

: No more than 1 Carrera from a generation and it would all fall into
: place, right?

: So off we go...

: 2447 T first execution. I considered the purity of an S but the red
: text wins me over.

: 1158 CHN white on black date. For the Ferrari and F1 links.

: The third took longer to think about. I thought about a 510.511 but
: decided there were watches from the 1st and 2nd generations I
: would keep in preference to that. Thus breaking my initial rule.

: I thought about watches I would like to have. Toyed with a 2447 NT
: copper print dial as #3. But including a watch I don't own and
: moreover have never seen outside the dial boards at Tag Heuer
: felt too much like cheating.

: And then Ivan's post reminded me. Dato 45s. Where it all started
: for me.

: So watch number 3 is a 3147, either my first in silver or a nicer
: one in black.
