Jeff, I think as the watch industry moves forward, interest in the figures of the past will increase. In the same way people today read about Henry Ford, Preston Tucker, Enzo Ferrari, Carrol Shelby, et al; watch enthusiasts will be keen to learn about key figures in the horological world.
I'm sure he's thought about it, but a word or two with Jack Heuer about writing a biography may go a long way in preserving the heritage of Heuer, both the company and the man. As an inventor/manufacturer myself I'd love to get some insight into the decisions, trials, tribulations, and triumphs of a man that saw first-hand the impact of an industry in upheaval and the Phoenix rising from the electronic ashes.
