Many thanks for taking the time to write this. It's always good to get information first hand from someone with experience. We tend to make assumptions about the past far too easily. It's also great to remember that our precious watches were actually tool watches that were used as such. I always find it amusing when Rolex Sub owners today insist on keeping their watches away from water !
