Re: What is the typo on the back?
In Response To: What is the typo on the back? ()

Where you read "Fuerças" should be "Forças", both mean forces in english.
"Fuerças" is spanish, in portuguese the correct word is "Forças". This makes it difficult to be really portuguese. There was no military colaboration between the two countries at the time, to my knowledge at least.
If the back is of the same watch it smells fake, at least the engraving.

All the best,

Guilherme Canta

: This seems strange that there would be a typo on the case back.
: Also, as most of you will have noted - that they all use dials
: similar to that of the Heuer GMT, and that the sub dial needles
: are not black. Strange choice for a mil watch, difficult to read
: as they are polished steel.

: Hopefully someone will have detailed photos of the insides.

: I personally think it strange that if these were indeed Heuer, why
: the Heuer shield is not present - like on so many Heuer mil
: issued watches.

: Interesting subject though.
