Is there a ref. 73623 known ???

Hi folks,

saw recently in a watchmakers box a stainless steel case with screw type caseback ref. 73623 serial 173xxx
Caseback clearly engraved and original looking to me.
Other ref numbers that are close to the one above are housing a 7736 valjoux according the master ref table.
The case is the same that is used by Hamilton and Clebar: they could be seen here at the section "Poor man's Heuer".
Middle of the page when you scroll down.

Just a guess: The case were planned to be used by heuer, but then they decided otherwise and gave them to
Clebar, Hamilton etc.. Would be great to know if these cheapo cases do have the original Heuer ref and serial and
if the engravings in the caseback have been milled out.

Any comments?
