Re: Ebay weirdness????
In Response To: Re: Ebay weirdness???? ()

Hello John,

: I am an eBay seller but rarely a buyer...at least of whole watches.
: Maybe you can explain to me the economics of an eBay sale which
: is really not a sale. I just don't get it. The fees seem to me
: to be a killer of activity like this. Are these
: "sellers" telling eBay that the buyer finked out and
: thus not paying the sales fees? Is eBay somehow complicit
: whether knowingly or not? What gives?

Yes, exactly. eBay's mostly automatic procedures help.

But even if the seller has to pay the fees a few times, the higher profit will cover these expenses.

Cheers,

Mick
