I bid on this one just for the fun of it, and was surprised to have won it.
I'm not usually one to chase the projects, but something about this Autavia intrigued me. This model made the cut in our "Keep Only Three" event, and I will be interested to see what it can become. I believe that I can locate the correct hands and bezel.
The screw-back Autavias seem to be very popular right now, and for good reasons -- great size; beautiful design with excellent legibility; accessible V72 movement; etc.
I will let you know what it looks like, "in the metal".
