Re: Serial Numbers

My example is with the Professor in Belgium getting a new crystal and service. As a routine I record the serial numbers of all new arrivals however I have no number on file for this one. I must have checked and assume the PVD coating covered any engraved number on the case. I will check when it returns. Maybe Shaun has a serial number or like me, its been obscured by the coating.
I know that the serial on the PVD Monaco is very faint but visible. The coating on the Monaco and Lemania Carrera appear to be much smoother than the barrel Carrera almost satin in appearance while the barrel Carrera coating can be described as gritty.
I look forward to the comments of the other owners.
regards
Paul
