The previous auction with a price around 3K is really one of the most crazy Heuer auction prices I ever saw on ebay (together with the $19 (?) Autavia GMT).
I have a problem to understand why "oyster", who for quite some time follows Heuer auctions, is willing to pay so much for an easy rider...
If I had to bet if the previous auction was a real auction or a "fake auction" (selling never took place) I would bet that it was a "fake auction".
As for the new auction, I'm not sure if the exorbitant asking price is a result of the previous auction or not. It could be or it could just be one of those sellers that ask too much.
Btw, have you noticed that, somehow, generally prices in UK are higher? Maybe it's the exchange rate...
