I think I stand corrected. I have no idea where Jeff found those pics (I can't find them by doing a Google search), but they present a strong case for a white handset.
The only thing I find strange is what color is (or was originally) the accent stripes by the hour markers? In the pics Jeff found they appear to be a creamy color, which matches nothing else on the watch.
