No false anything as far as I am concerned. The two vs three register debate can rage on all it likes but there is something sublime about a two register. $20k+ for an Autavia 3646 (two register) aint that bad.
Your image captures the real beauty of the elements that make this so special - starburst dial, minute lume plots peeping out from the our markers and of course the contrast with the registers.
These are in my experience as rare as any 60's cased Carrera.
Great addition to the countdown and of course yet another classic Carrera from your amazing collection.
