I think what Mr. Koch is doing is very honourable.
IMHO, I just don't see the point of wine collecting.. whether you are a billionaire of a man of modest means...surely the pleasure is drinking it, at which point it is worthless. Might as well just buy gold bars instead. If people want to spend $50k on a bottle of booze, then they are kinda walking on thin ice anyway.
Strange way to spend your money - might as well collect snow flakes.
I remember a TV show on ages ago, where they had the Queen's Royal Wine experts on.. and they were given an (unexpected) blind taste test. They did quite well, picking out the £5 wine, and the £100 wine... but also thought a £15 ASDA/Walmart bottle of red was the £2500 vintage.. just goes to show.
